Dr. Tordis Berstrand's research revolves around art, architecture and philosophy for critical historical explorations of the living space.
Tordis Berstrand, PhD, is an independent architect, scholar and writer. She holds a Master’s from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Copenhagen, Denmark, and is a member of The Danish Architects' Association. She has an MSc Architectural History from The Bartlett School of Architecture, London, UK, and a PhD degree from University of Kent, School of Architecture, Canterbury, UK. Having practised as an architect in London, Tordis has also been involved in sound and performance art since before the architectural studies. Lately, she is interested in writing as a site for architectural production and her research revolves around art, architecture and philosophy for critical historical explorations of the living space.
